Delbert's Pictures

Here's the final version. I know that I also posted them on the Rasmussen Blog; but thought I would try to get them on here too. Anyway, it's been a fun learning experience. Hope you enjoy it. I did. Sure love that guy!

Thanksgiving Love

Here are some fun pictures from the past. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Just a little reminder of the guy that we all love so much. Thanksgiving always makes me think of him. It was such a special holiday. I am so grateful for the family that we have. We are so blessed to have such a great legacy and so much love to share among us. I hope that each one of you has a great Thanksgiving. Don't eat more than your share of Turkey and Dressing! But be sure and eat more pie than you can handle. I love you all so much. Thanks so much for everything that you do for me.

Where does the time go?

In two weeks it will be 1 year since we took this picture at the Oliver Reunion. Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday to me, that we were all at the Rotary Park having that water fight doesn't it? Who has changed the most? Who has accomplished the most? Not me, I'm afraid. I think maybe I'm in the same spot I was in last year at this time almost. If it wasn't for my new calling in the Young Women's, that is causing me to stretch and go out of my comfort zone, I would probably be the same spiritually, as well; which is not a good thing, either. It is hard to keep growing and expanding in the right direction, isn't it? (I can always expand at the waistline, easy enough, however) It is easy to go backwards, however. Why is that? I'm constantly amazed at how fast time flys by. Even when I'm lonely and discouraged, time is still hurrying on. Each day goes by quickly and I wonder what I have accomplieshed to further the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father. I can easily see what I do to spend my time--but I'm not always sure it is spent doing the right things. I love this time of year, it always reminds me of Delbert hunting and spending time in the mountains. I love the mountains--they remind me of family and family reunions and camping trips. We need to spend time with our families doing the things that will bind us together for eternity. That is what matters! The gospel of Jesus Christ is the path we need to follow to keep us together as a family. We all need to do what we can to follow the commandments and be happy. Thanks for listening to me be on my soap box; but I am constantly amazed at how quickly time passes and I am still trying to accomplish the same things. I am so amazed at how quickly your children are growing up and becoming such wonderful children. Thanks for being such great parents and doing the right things to create eternal families. Thanks for creating ties that bind and won't break.

And the other thing I love about fall, is BYU FOOTBALL. The first game is August 30th @ 4:00 p.m. against Northern Iowa. We will be there in attendance! So wait for pictures of the current BYU FANS extraordinary!!!

Love you all more than I can say. Grandma O

Graduation

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came and supported me at my graduation. It was great to spend time with Naomi, Amanda, Heidi, Louis, Mom and Cassie. You guys are great! It was like a fun girls only weekend, except for Louis of course. I appreciate the sacrifices your families made to share you too. Thanks to all my family for the support and love you've all given me that's made me who I am today.

All my love!
Tiera

Here are some pictures we took before my graduation!

It was so great to have everyone there with me.
Thanks girls! (and Louis)

Our little family! :D

Louis was so happy for me he cried.

My mom is definitely my greatest supporter.
I wouldn't have made it with out her!

Hello from S - T - G!

Hey Everyone!
I promised mom (back in October) that I would contribute to our blog and so here I am posting a small blurb from St. George. (Even though she hasn't added anything to the blog yet, either)
Well as most have you have probably already heard, I have moved on to a new and different "career" (SURPRISE, SURPRISE) I am working at Riverside Business Insurance and loving it. I will be working on getting my insurance license eventually, for now I'm just doing all work w/out the comission. :D
I have one class I'm taking at Dixie (soon to be University of Utah Dixie Campus, but that's a whole other can of worms), and will be graduating (Finally) with my associates of science on May 2nd. Well, that is assuming I pass my math class, and that's always a struggle for me. So far though things are looking good. If any of you need an excuse to visit good old St. George in May you are all of course invited to my graduation.
Welp, that pretty much sums up all the goings on in my life as of right now. I sure love and miss every single one of you!
